3. Ground-mount on unused course land

Areas behind tee boxes, deep rough, former practice ranges, and excess land beyond the playable course can host ground-mount. Larger UK courses with 200+ acre estates can host 200kWp-2MWp ground-mount.

Are golf courses good PPA candidates?
Larger courses with substantial roof and land inventory are strong PPA candidates. PPA tariffs of 7.5-9p/kWh are achievable on courses with creditable trading history. Smaller members' clubs with limited roof and weak covenant strength are typically better-served by member loans, capital grants (REPF), or self-funded with Full Expensing. We assess this at scoping.
