Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Commercial Solar Grants is registered in England & Wales. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Our MCS membership number is NIC-MCS-101842. We are members of RECC and TrustMark.
2. Use of this website
This site is provided for general information about UK commercial solar grants. We update content regularly but do not guarantee that every figure (grant deadline, capex range, tariff) is the most current — funders and suppliers change terms without notice. Always confirm key facts with us or the funder before acting.
3. Engagement of services
If you instruct us to deliver a paid service (scoping, application, project management), we provide a written engagement letter setting out scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, IP and liability. The engagement letter prevails over this page in case of conflict.
4. Fees and payment
Standard fees are set out in our website "About" page. All fees are quoted exclusive of VAT. Payment terms are 14 days from invoice. Late payments accrue interest at 4% above Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Grant outcomes
We do not guarantee grant approval. Our work is to maximise the probability of approval through proper scoping, modelling and application drafting. Final award decisions rest entirely with the funder. We disclose our success rate (currently 92%) in good faith and based on our last 24 months of submissions.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, images, schema, structure) is owned by Commercial Solar Grants or licensed to us. Reproduction is permitted for personal, non-commercial reference. Republication, scraping, or use for AI training is not permitted without written consent.
7. Liability
Our total liability for any claim arising under a paid engagement is capped at the fees paid by the client to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or business-loss damages, except to the extent such exclusion is prohibited by law (death, personal injury, fraud).
8. Confidentiality
Information you share with us during scoping or engagement is treated as confidential. We do not name clients in case studies without prior written consent.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this site or our services.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of this site after changes constitutes acceptance.
